When we work together I want it to be as effortlessly for you as possible. Yet another perk of hiring Swiss Copywriting for your lead gen marketing needs.
Why?
Because you shouldn’t have to wait weeks or months to get your projects started. Let's face it, you don't always have the option of waiting that long. And you should know what to expect when working with a freelance writer.
I’ve been involved with long project initiations and time is wasted, too much confusion, players rolling off, and playing catch up with financials while trying to manage other projects. Not my style!
That’s why I want you to have a glimpse of my writing process and flow.
Yes, there are times when we will have to shift directions or priorities but the below working process is the norm not the exception.
Simple Steps for Working With Me
Step 1: Initial Call
This call, generally 20 minutes, gives us a chance to get to know each other. Determine if we're a good fit and for me to understand your copy needs.
This call starts the scoping process and our working relationship. A chance to learn more about working together and zero in on what challenge you need to solve.
With enough information, I can give you a ball park quote for the copy you need, at the end of our call. Now, most copywriters won't do this, but again, I want to eliminate any surprises when you receive my proposal. You know if my fee range fits with your budget.
Step 2: The Proposal
I email you my proposal.
The proposal cover what we discussed on our calls, project scope, timelines and expectation.
You review and accept or deny.
When you agree. I require your written agreement and 50% of the total fee before I begin work. This initial fee is nonrefundable and once received I can begin work based on our agreed timeframe.
Note: Agreement in writing, agreed start date, and initial payment received, only then will the clock start.
Step 3: Discovery
This includes a 30 to 60 minute “kick-off” meeting/call with you and anyone else you deem necessary to cover the project scope and goals.
We’ll do a deeper dive into your copy, audience, and product. I will also request documentation from you (determined per project). Typically, product specifications, previous marketing materials, results, or data cards about your target audience. Which I use in-conjunction with my own research and expertise to deliver effective copy.
Step 4: Write
Using all the information I’ve gathered, I write the numerous b2b lead generating copy requested in the project agreement. Working with you until it’s ready.
Step 5: Handover
I attached the document to you and submit via email.
Step 6: Revisions
I do revisions, if requested within 30-days of copy handover.
Why? Because I want you to be satisfied with the copy.
For longer, more involved projects, I can provide an outline, customer journey, or first email to review and get approval before continuing.
Step 7: Final Invoice
I send out the final invoice after I handover copy to you. Payment is due 30 days after invoice receipt. The invoice will show agreed project fee, any fees already paid and payment due.
That's it. Simple and straight-forward project timeline.
Thank you!
P.S.
I may send you a “how did the copy do” email; because I like to know your copy did the job you needed it to.
